Over several years the Daily was stripped down, inspected and rebuilt system by system. Wherever available, new genuine Iveco, Achleitner or high-quality OE parts were used – including seals, bearings, lines, brackets and fasteners.
Drivetrain
Achleitner 4×4 & propshaft
The heart of the vehicle is the rare Achleitner all-wheel-drive conversion. The front axle is selectable: on the road the front drive does not run permanently, while off-road the complete Achleitner drivetrain is available.
- New transfer case
- Low-range gearbox and three differential locks
- Two-piece main propshaft with three new universal joints and new centre bearing, precision-balanced on a test bench (balancing report available)
- ZF six-speed gearbox resealed on the output side, new shift cables and new gear lever
Rear axle
Rear axle – completely rebuilt
Only the cast-iron axle housing and the inspected half-shafts were kept from the original assembly. Everything else is new.
- Differential rebuilt with new 9:44 gear set, new bearings, seals and shims
- Gear backlash precisely set to 0.15 mm
- New wheel hubs, wheel bearings and shaft seals
- New brake discs, calipers, pads and parking brake mechanism
- Air suspension: new Firestone air springs, axle links, dampers, level sensors and ECU
Front axle
Front axle & steering
The Achleitner front axle was fully rebuilt with new genuine Iveco and Achleitner parts. The steering knuckle housings were refurbished and the drive shafts professionally overhauled by Achleitner.
- New wheel hubs and wheel bearings
- New ball joints, control arm and rubber bushings
- New tie rods, tie rod ends and intermediate steering shaft
- New shock absorbers
- New steering column including universal joint
- Axle carriers and mounts cleaned, protected and coated black
Brakes
Braking system
The Brembo twin-piston brake system was comprehensively renewed at all four wheels.
- New calipers, discs and pads
- New brake hoses, wear sensors, springs and brackets
- Rear parking brake with new shoes, backing plates and actuation
- Master cylinder and vacuum reservoir renewed
Engine
Engine – F1C 3.0 HPI, 177 hp
The original F1C base engine was inspected with the timing cover removed: chains, sprockets and guides show no noticeable wear. The excellent short block was therefore kept – and all ancillaries were renewed.
- New timing cover with gasket and oil guide, PTFE crankshaft seal, oil pan and vibration damper
- New genuine 150 A alternator with freewheel pulley
- Both belt drives renewed with all belts, tensioners and idlers
- New water pump, new thermostat housing with thermostat and sensor
- New engine and gearbox mounts
Intake & exhaust
Turbo, intake & exhaust
The entire intake and exhaust side is new – from the snorkel to the tailpipe.
- New genuine turbocharger with oil and coolant lines
- New genuine Iveco exhaust manifold, flex pipe and temperature sensor
- New EGR cooler and EGR valve
- New intercooler, charge-air hoses and air ducts
- Snorkel intake with generously sized ducting
- New exhaust system including silencer; original DPF professionally cleaned – Euro 4, green sticker, no AdBlue
Cooling & A/C
Cooling & air conditioning
Cooling and air conditioning were rebuilt as complete systems – essential for hot stages and long climbs.
- New radiator, cooling fan and viscous coupling
- New coolant hoses, expansion tank and air ducts
- New heater core
- Air conditioning: new genuine compressor, condenser with dryer, expansion valve, pressure sensors and all lines
Fuel
Fuel system
Completely rebuilt from filler neck to engine.
- New 100-litre tank with new straps
- New tank module with fuel pump, sender and float
- New feed and return lines, connectors and filter housing
- New filler neck, breather and fuel cap
Body
Front end, body & underbody
The exterior and underbody were treated just as thoroughly. Original Achleitner protection and special parts were retained where technically sensible.
- Repainted front carrier, new grille and new front bumper
- New wiper system including motor
- Winch, underride protection and Achleitner protection parts fully integrated
- Underbody, frame and brackets cleaned, protected and painted
- Snorkel and roof-mounted auxiliary lights

Fully documented
